It has been a world wind of excitement here at the shop. The UPS truck or Fed Ex comes everyday with new merchandise, that Dennis and I have purchased at market. Customers are excited with the new look for Ruston Florist and Boutique. Our Spring Open House is April 4th-8th. On Thursday, April 7th, we will have a live radio remote with 99.3X, gourmet sampling of our new gourmet foods and mixes available. Register for $100.00 gift certificate and free door prizes also.

Well Mardi Gras is underway. Several parades have been happening everywhere in Louisiana. Come by Ruston Florist for all your Mardi Gras decorating needs. Next year we will have lots more. Holly made a great wreath and Robbie and Joyce been busy decorating the shop with new merchandise arriving daily. Dennis and I will be going to market again, in a couple of weeks. So much new and exciting things for the our customers. Ruston Florist is blooming with great new ideas.

I can't believe it is already December. Our staff have been so busy at the shop, as well as, decorating customer's homes and businesses for the holidays. Please come by and let us help you with all your Christmas shopping. We have a new shipment of jewelry, rings and scarves just in. Christmas time?

Yes, I know, Christmas in September... However, we are so busy in the coming months with Louisiana Tech football games, Ruston High School and Cedar Creek Homecomings and many other functions that we have to start this early to get everything done!! We are also hosting a "Holiday Design Show", Tuesday, October 12th, 9:30 - 12:00 with lunch being served for those attending. Holly and I will be demostrating floral and decorating designs for the upcoming holiday season. Our participants will have a tour of the shop, now that we are offering so much other merchandise, including jewelry, handbags, watches, gourmet foods, and much, much more. In November, we are planning to have a booth at CEDARTOWN Christmas. Ruston Florists Christmas Open House will be announced very soon and there will be lots of other fun parties going on as well, so be looking for updates.

Boxes and More Boxes

Well, We were getting ready to leave on Friday....and a 18 Wheeler FULL of merchandise pulled up to front of the shop. When I say BOXES, I mean BOXES of all sorts of merchandise. We got in all sorts and styles of iron wall pockets, metal containers, Zebra print containers and accessories, decorative vases, candles...etc. Going to market and ordering for the store is so much fun, but being at the store when that merchandise arrives is amazing!!! Its so exciting to know whats coming and when it arrives and you get out and display it in the shop, everything comes to reality. The shop is so welcoming and warm...I hope you can come in and see for yourself how beautiful and relaxing Ruston Florist truly is!!!
